(PLEASE NOTE: There is also a $10 administrative fee per registration.)

Discounts

• A 10% discount will be applied for Multiple Siblings registering at the same time and for the full session.
• A 10% Multiple Lesson discount will apply for a student registering for more than one lesson type. Students must register for lessons at the same time and for the full session to receive the discount.
• Please use the Code PRESTO and make sure you click on the Apply button at the end of the code box.

The Spring session includes 12 lessons to be scheduled between February 10-May 9, 2025.

After registering, a student is assigned an instructor. (Every effort will be made to accommodate requests for specific instructors.) The instructor will call or email the student/parent to create a customized weekly lesson schedule for late afternoon, evening or Saturday morning. All lessons will be taught in Fulton Hall on the campus of 9i´«Ã½ÓÐÏÞ¹«Ë¾.

For parents who may be considering home schooling for the fall semester, and are interested in submitting PRESTO lessons for arts credit, please see the information below from a PRESTO family member who has been homeschooling for 20 years in MD:

“Homeschool requirements are statewide law and not mandated by county.  In fact, state law specifically forbids localities from suggesting anything in addition to state law. If you would like to read the actual homeschool law please click the link below. It is neither long nor difficult to understand: 

The requirements for fulfilling any homeschool subject are set in state law as ‘the usual subjects normally taught in public schools.’ The homeschooling parent is the one who decides what satisfies the requirement.  Examples: drawing lessons at Hobby Lobby, online performances, private music lessons, etc.

I do list our Presto lessons, as they already are, in my fine arts category.  It more than satisfies the requirement.  It's actually more arts instruction than most public schools do. I use wording something like: weekly violin lessons to include: reading musical notation, rhythm practice, daily practice of pieces suggested by teacher and music basics/scales, some history of composers/pieces.”
