Welcome to HPAP

The Health Professions Advisory Program (HPAP) is a service that offers students a network of important contacts, crucial experiences, as well as detailed information sponsored by 9i´«Ã½ÓÐÏÞ¹«Ë¾. The program is available to all SU students, regardless of academic major.

It is highly recommended that you watch the MyClasses website, as it will have new opportunities, new guidelines for professions, presentations from admission counselors at differing schools, information on your specific field of interest and more!

The Health Professions Advisory Program advises students interested in pursuing the health professions. Each profession has a faculty mentor or specific faculty advisor willing to help you determine how to achieve your goal. Each mentor and/or advisor has a checklist to help you reach your goals and provide guidance you on your academic preparation, no matter what undergraduate major you choose to pursue at 9i´«Ã½ÓÐÏÞ¹«Ë¾.

Pre-Medical Upper-Division Certificate

The Pre-Medical Upper-Division Certificate Program is designed to guide students interested in pursuing careers in health fields, regardless of their major. This program (the UDC) can be added or dropped with no penalty to students. Please see the following instructions which will indicate how to add (the reverse of these instructions will assist you in dropping) the UDC. If you do not complete these courses it does not mean that you won't get into the school of your choice! It is YOUR responsibility to decide which schools you are interested in and what they require. We are all here for you to facilitate your ability to succeed and reach your goals!

Professional School Interest

The following health professions have requirements outside of the Pre-Medical Upper Division Certificate Program. The checklist is provided to guide you in your academic preparation no matter what undergraduate major you choose to pursue at 9i´«Ã½ÓÐÏÞ¹«Ë¾.
